IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal
This course will provide students with training and certification in the techniques required to start an IV as well as blood withdrawal. The course provides information on fluid and electrolyte balance, management and care of the IV site, anatomy and physiology, and universal precautions. Instruction which will enable licensed nursing personnel to acquire the concept of IV Therapy and Blood products, total parenteral nutrition and blood withdrawal.
State certified for 36 hours of instruction
